Jesus scammers come up with some creative shit these days. Way better than the 32 million dollar fortune giveaways that started like 20 years ago and still are around today.

 

I can’t really find fault with any of these statements. Somebody made some money via fraud.

 

True, but we "support" fraud of some kind everyday just doing normal things. If you delve deep enough into any major corporation I'm sure you'll find fraud or far worse offenses. It doesn't mean you support such offenses.

 

Well, that’s indirect. These circumstances are extremely direct.

 

But most of the time you still know it's there. We pretend we're oblivious to that fact but we know. I mean we all know there is some shady shit going on in Hollywood surrounding movies but we all go and watch them.

 

Can't you appeal with case with PayPal? And just show them what was delivered wasn't what you ordered? Seems like they just automatically denied you as a first step.

 

But but but paypal was the safest way to take the risk... nothing was supposed to go wrong with paypal.

At least you're only out money for one set until it gets resolved (hopefully), I haven't been following the thread too closely but what about the guy that ordered 10 or something

 

So far the only people out of money for me is PayPal

 

they definitely will make some money off it, mostly from people that didn't pay with credit cards and used debit or gift cards. By sending a package with a tracking number they've figured out how to work around the PayPal dispute too, though that may get sorted out eventually. If Wal Mart ends up refunding a bunch of people it'll come out of their pocket which I can't say I'm too upset about, but it's still not right.

WalMart will pull the seller off their website and the scammer will just come back under a different name, the circle of scamming life continues

 

Also if the PayPal transaction used a credit card you can seek help there too.

Matt is out of town and hasn't realized that he got 5 envelopes with GOD BLESS notes.

 

Called PayPal Customer Service, hit 0 until I got to a real person. Explained my problem, sent them a picture of the note, made my case (seller has shit reviews, note mentioned I can get a refund but no contact info on note, note mentions most back orders ship in 5 days and its been almost two weeks, etc). Refund on the way

 

Stop supporting thieves

PayPal definitely dropped the ball. Wallmart was pleasant to deal with, just email help@wallmart.com if possible ask for Michelle.
