I have the same setup. Once they settled, I had to crank them up a little and had a a bit more preload then I'd like(similar to your setting). Went with a 1" longer spring and much better ride, with no sag.

How does the rear suspension feel compared to stock off-road suspension. I'm looking into doing the same but don't want to drive a stiff truck. I figure the front shocks should ride great. I actually like the stock ride just want it higher.

The ride ignore great. Though the rear is a little stiffer but nothing that affects wanting to daily drive it. I've driven alot of suspension tunes vehicles cars and trucks. This fox setup is great for street and dirt. Nice compromise.

I have the extended travel Fox 2.5... the other forum chart says icons are .25" more travel than foxs which is debatable to fight over but I would have gone that route.

Is your truck featured in the Fox suspension page in the Headstrong website? Sick looking rig bro and thanks for sharing the pics. I really like the lift height.

Yes. Marie asked if she could use my pic for their Fox level 2 ad. It's all good with me.

Did you do a cmc? Been thinking hard about this lift with Dakars for the rear. Truck looks damn good!

I feel like there's some knowledgable gents in here. Can someone point me towards a post about lift and diff drop. I'd like maximum lift without diff drop. Is it possible with 3" or are you stuck at 2"

Can anyone show me a pic with the fox 2.5 CO and 2.0 w/resi rear, set at the preset of 2" (1" - 2016) without AAL installed in the rear? I just want to level out the front and get feedback on how you like the fox setup. Thanks

I'm kinda worried about one of the others posters preload amount, when lifting don't just crank to the height you "like" as the shock should sit roughly at 50% of its travel static. I can't recall the static, compressed and uncompressed lengths off the top of my head but the Fox guys can give you the measurements you need to make sure youre setting up your suspension correct.

But I have Icon AAL, control arm skids, 3" fox DSC fronts, Fox Hydro bumpstomps, and all the Pelfrey bilt trail armor on the way so things will change up a bit

Do you run at all at with those tires? I am getting this same set up but am still debating what tires to get. Was thinking about just doing 265/75/16 and keeping my stock wheel

I'm considering a roughly 2" lift on my 16 TRD Offroad LB.

    1. Is the Fox adjustable? Could I set it to 2" and would that give me more down travel?
    2. I'm concerned about added stress top joints. Would installing a diff drop make for less wear and avoid any possible issues? What about my cv joints?

I've heard people say not to worry about the added stress, but can anybody explain why not to worry? I'd be willing to spend a little extra to ensure a better system.

    Thanks in advance y'all

I want to do this same setup on my third gen trd off-road. How do you like it was it all worth it. How much trimming did you have to do. How much mpg did you loose. I will be doing 300 mile commutes every other weekend so that's my only deterring factor.

I have the same set up at 3" with Dakar leaf pack. Running with 250 lbs of armor on 285 ko2's getting 18-20 mpg @70 mph.

Edit: CMC, pinch weld hammering and lower fender trimming with dremel.
