Lead times will depend on which shocks you are interested in. Shoot us a message and we can work out the details

Ouch, no bueno. Unfortunately this is one of the reasons we do not recommend adjusting preload with the coilovers installed on the vehicle. These are not easy to replace. That have to be threaded out/on the top of the shock body which requires the hose to be removed, which also requires the shock to be taken apart to be bled properly etc. Unless this is an IFP 2.5 coilover, without a reservoir?

Somewhere between 500-1000 miles I noticed the front had come down a bit and it’s stayed the same ever since.

With winter time approaching. Any recommendations of covering the resi with something? Already got some covers for the coilovers.

Looking for a little help. I try to keep up with this thread, but you know lots of pages. Ok so I have developed a squeak on my drivers front and I suspect it's my Fox performance coilover. Upon some digging in, it might be the lower mount, however I am not sure how to take it apart. I have done heim's on 2.5 coilovers, but the 2.0 is a bit different. Also anyone have part numbers for the lower mount? Online searching is leaving me empty handed....

    Any help is much appreciated!!

I'm not aware of any covers for those. The reservoir is aluminum so wont corrode like the steel shock body/fittings.

Anyone else have a really hard time spinning one of their high speed adjusters? For me it’s one of the rears.

Can I hit it with silicone lubricant or wd40?

I can only get it 2 clicks rn guessing dirt got into the dial spinning it after wheeling with dirt caked on. Should I bring water in a spray bottle to rinse them off before spinning them in the future?

Unfortunately, by design they are a bit hard to rotate since you are actually preloading shims with the high speed knob. Cleaning may help. See article below on how they are assembled, may give you some ideas.

Hey @AccuTune Offroad a couple of clarifying questions before I get started. The "R" and the "L" sticker on top of the shock..."R" is passenger and "L" is driver, correct?
Last thing: regarding "Min installed length: Minimum length the spring can be with the shock fully extended before risk of coil bind", does that mean that when the truck is lifted and no weight is on the spring that it is "fully extended" and it should be at a minimum of 11 3/4" for the 700# spring?

Yes for R & L, as if you were sitting in driver seat. Hose routing points towards the front of the vehicle so it should be pretty hard to accidentally flip the install. Minimum installed length is with the shock fully extended.

The equivalent shock part number to reference on that chart is "FOX-880-02-418" the middle number with 02 means non-adjustable. 06 means it has DSC adjusters, otherwise they are the same shock since they share the last 3 digits.

DF35B620-6D2B-44BC-A621-46246EA30480.jpg I’m up early about to install Fox 2.5 DSC with remote reservoirs (standard 600 pound coilovers), SPC uppers, Tundra 2.5s in the rear tuned for the Tacoma, and Deaver stage 2 leaf springs.

Other than my 100 pound Diamondback bed cover, I’m at stock weight. I’ll carry around 400-500 pounds of sand to make the leaf springs happy. I got the stage 2s because I intend to have added weight in the rear eventually. So I’m just planning ahead.

The preload on both front shocks seem to be at 1.125”. Hope everything goes smoothly.

    All of them.
You can add or decrease the preload in the front coil overs when they are in the truck if needed. Just jack up the front. Some lube helps too

It feels like I could barely fit my reservoirs nicely on their brackets. The black knobs opposite end of the DSC knobs are touching the front. Is this ok?
