It's not your guys fault, you guys send me a beautiful set. I think the install shop over tightened the clamp. Currently working on getting it rectified with the install shop

Anybody know if 4Runner pro suspension will fit a 2021 Tacoma?

I just got some 2.5 PES from Accutune put on yesterday at the local shop and as I went home to check the DSC adjustment settings were all the same, I found that on the driver's coilover I could rotate the HSC adjuster knob infinitely. All other coilovers would reach fully open and stop. I got to well over 20 clicks counter-clockwise on the driver's coilover before I got worried and stopped. I referenced some fox academy videos and I believe the maximum clicks on HSC is 12 clicks, and 10 for LSC.

Anyone else had this happen before? Am I doing something wrong? or is the shock defective, as I have never owned shocks with DSC before. If so, is it serious?

I called Accutune and they advised me to stop rotating it, otherwise I could unthread some nut in there and it would be semi disastrous.

Don't believe us? lol yes who ever you spoke with is correct and anyone else that knows how these shocks are built would agree. They are not supposed to rotate indefinitely. Our team also offered some suggestions on how to get this shock repaired.

Oh, trust me I believe you. I haven't touched it since and I'm even hesitant to drive it now after consulting you guys. I just wanted to know if there were any other similar experiences out there, and more than anything I didn't trust my lack of experience with DSC shocks or my bad luck altogether.

I did reach out to Fox as you suggested but they've yet to reply. It wouldn't be bad to drive on them would it? Considering that the shocks are already mounted I don't have much of an option and the local shop isn't too thrilled about having to strip off what they just put on either...

10-4, sounds like we are offering to repair it for free, which would likely also be quicker. I don't think it's an issue driving on it, I would just not rotate the adjusters any further.

You’re gonna have to take them off the truck to fix it. I had to take off rear shocks to send to fox for warranty. The shop should do it for free but realistically taking them off is pretty easy. You woulda needed to remove them to send in to get rebuilt anyways in 3-5 years so might as well figure it out now unless you got money growing on trees

Yes, they fit. I have a complete set from a 2021 and didn't have any issues with mounting. I've read that you're supposed to have a mounting block for either the E-brake cable or one of the rear brake lines (can't remember which), but when we put mine on, I didn't see anything that would cause a problem.

Wondering if extended brake lines are needed or recommended for my application?

I've got Fox elite 2.5 883-06-178 fronts and 883-26-113 rears coming on Wednesday or Thursday this week. The rears are the 2-3" lift versions.

Planning on pairing these with Accutune's uca's or Camburg's uniball uca's and deaver n98's or u402 stage 1's.

Extended brake lines are not required. They get tight, but not necessary. Cheap upgrade if you are concerned and do a lot of off-roading.

That sounds potentially sketchy. Do you sell those/have a link? I think I've about made up my mind on the rest of the stuff...

We've installed many of these without issue, so I wouldn't necessarily label it sketchy. If it was a concern, we would toss them in our stage kits. We're not one to sell you something you don't need.

I was stock until a few months ago. I rock Icon RXTs in stage 2 and will be going to stage 3. I installed Wheeler's +4 lines to give myself peace of mind. I likely would've been fine all the same. I think they really only get tight if you really flex your suspension or if you jack up the frame and not the rear axle (i.e. flex suspension).

Honestly the tightest line is the e-brake so I’d personally start there. I didn’t see an easy way to extend it so I left it and bent the mount up to get it directly routed
