can the mounting orientation be changed on the Pe's by simplying rotating the remote resi like the factory race and just using clamps? clamping the pe's resi to the frame or something?

I haven't come across the sway bar issue yet ,granted my resi's are mounted as far up as they can go. Both low speed adjusters do not show any signs of damage or wear.

Below is a photo of the the new Performance Elite Series reservoir mount vs Factory Race Series reservoir mount.
-Can the PES reservoirs be clocked a different way? Sure, but not something we've done to confirm works and clears the sway bar. Proceed with caution.
-Swapping reservoir brackets to the FRS style mount may work, Fox stickers would be upside down. Can't confirm its a perfect swap. This is not something we stock.
-If you remove the reservoir bracket for some other method, you would be losing the sway bar drop that is part of the reservoir mount. So keep that in mind.
-Adjusting reservoir fittings is still something we recommend a professional does for you. However, if you are a DIYer and have access to a Nitrogen Tank to properly discharge the shocks, you can reference this article to make adjustments.
    -Possible reservoir mounting option

Hey guys, coming up on a year with my 2.5 IFP coilovers and have noticed the front sagging as of lately. I was pretty dissapointed only getting about 2.25” of lift out of them as I was hoping for 3” and was wondering about going to a heavier spring to hopefully achieve more lift and overcome the sagging I’ve seen lately. Local shops are quoting me quite a bit of money, enough that I’m considering just getting kings with heavier springs as that seems to be an option without additional cost to me from most places, haven’t seen that available for anything from Fox.

Why can't you just buy some new springs? I just swapped my 14" Eibach 600 lb springs to the 650 lb version. Should be around $200 for two new springs (bought mine from Accutune) and can't be much to have someone swap them out for you. A new set of Kings shocks is going to be a heck of a lot more expensive.

Did you change anything up front, add weight or anything like that? Do you have before & after measurements to confirm this sagging?
These are adjustable coilovers and are designed to be adjusted, so the easiest solution would be to add preload to compensate for a little height loss that you say you are experiencing.

So the one rear shock I got back from warranty you can hear the grease inside it when turning vs the other ones you never heard that at all. So I’m hopeful they realized conserving grease was the wrong option and this will at least last the 4 years before shock rebuilds.

I’m not sure what I’ll do with the fronts as idk if I’m willing to return them to stock get them fixed then get another alignment.

I have Fox 2.5 DSC's from Accutune on my truck. I have 14" 600lb springs.

When I spec'd the springs, my truck was pretty light (no front bumper, no winch, no shell, no drawers).

I'm perfectly happy with the 600lb springs and my pre-load checks out in spec. I have about an inch of thread at the top of the coilover showing on the passenger front, and maybe 1.5" on the drivers front (to account for taco lean).

    Here's my dilemma -

Adding some drawers to my bed, which will be 200lbs.
Changing out my front bumper which will weigh another 50lbs.

I don't think the drawers will change much up front, and I'm sure I can get the pre-load set correctly (along with shock length) in the front and stay on these 600lb springs.

Question for anyone who has been in this same situation. Have you been happy going to stiffer springs? It's a 10% increase in spring rate, does it translate to more than that on the road? I really like the way my truck drives around town, but absolutely don't wish it any firmer on the fireroads/washboard roads.

As I wrote above, I went from 14" 600lb to 14" 650 lb recently. Probably rode around on the 600lb springs for a year and a half with no issues, but as I added weight over time (like me, my Tacoma is gradually getting heavier), I noticed that my drivers front shock would compress a little to easily when off road. I didn't have any issues while on the road. After going to the 650lb spring, I noticed no difference with driving on the road but definite improvement off road.

Your situation is pretty easy; add the drawers and the bumper, then see how it works for you. How the on-road driving will be affected by a small spring rate change is going to be pretty subjective. I doubt you'll notice the difference unless you're pretty particular. My Tacoma feels like a rough truck when I drive it, I have never really noticed a lot of change with any of the many modifications I've done (except the ECU tune, that was the one thing that made a big difference for the better).

Did you have any issues when getting the warranty work done? I've had a hard time getting in touch with a service manager, I want to confirm they're going to cover this if I'm going to go through the hassle of taking both of them off the front .

Speaking for myself, Accutune was kind enough to follow up with an email to them to keep the ball moving and they reached out right away. They have one of mine now but not sure on the timeline to repair and return. Did you file the warranty claim on Fox's website?

Just spoke to the service manager at Fox today. He's going to take care of both fronts. And I also have the rears still in the box. I'm going to send back all 4 have them looked over and taken care of .

    Copy-pasted from the other thread.

“Next time you chat with him, ask him what he’d thinks about a silicone cup cover that covers the adjusters. Figure a zip tie or work clamp to keep the cover on betweensetting adjustments should do the trick ifit’s debris getting passed the o-ring. Kinda silly they expect a single o-ring to beenough to keep sand & dirt out fromgetting under the adjuster knobs.”

No I was within my 1 year warranty of purchase, filed the form and sent it in. They covered it no questions asked.

are you getting them to cover stuff outside the 1 year warranty? I’m 13 months out

That's a great call, seems like only a matter of time that you would have to send them in anyway.
