Drop spindles may require longer bump stops to keep tires out of fender.

Installed some 2.0s last night. So far I'm very happy with them!

@AccuTune Offroad can the bump stop be mounted in the can with a gap say 1/4" between the end of the can and the lip on the end of the bump stop?

Also, what should the pinch can be torqued to?

The pinch bolt style air bumps are not adjustable in position if thats what you're asking. The can rests on that lip of the shock body. I don't have a torque spec for those bolts.

Yes, I would like it 1/4-3/8 of an inch further down.

Are you trying to reduce up travel? Maybe for tire clearance reasons?

Got it. I have a few suggestions that may work.
-You could fab a spacer/sleeve that goes over the air bump body taking up that 1/4 - 3/8 space
-You could fab a 1/4 - 3/8 bump pad on the lower control arm
-Trim inner fender/body more and maintain shock travel.

    Thanks for the suggestions.
For now I'm going to use a spacer.
Actually found some made out of hardened steel.
    They're made for a 2" arbor.

Hello fox Taco family. I have a fox shock adjacent question. What leafs pair best with fox setup.
    2020 DCLB OR
I already have fox 2.0 adjustible resi rear (-117 part number) waiting for install
2.5 resi no adjuster front on the way.

question is with an ARE cap 185lbs constant weight. what rear springs should I get to maintain factory rake and pair the best with fox setup??
    medium duty dakkars?
    ICON RXT progressives?
no overland gear seems a waste to get an expedition pack.

what pairs the best with fox from experience and keeps factory rake?

The cap constant weight has flattened the stock leafs to the point when I tow or bounce the bed the stock leaf packs invert.

This is my truck a few years back with a leer shell and the old style Dakar pack with the 3rd leaf removed (similar to the current medium duty pack). Fox 2.5 with factory preload up front. This is with an extra 120ish lbs up front and 265/75/16 tires.

Can I run the 2.5 extended travel coilovers (Fox PN 880 - 02 - 418) street only until I can afford some UCAs? Got a friend giving me some for 2.0 price since hes going fully king extended setup (sucker)

Scrubbed some tires, and knocked a dent out.
    Thats a great animation!

So to me it looks like the difference of pre-load spacer vs adjustable is simply the adjustability? Their both preforming the same function. Obviously the shocks ability/travel is whats of issue here? And that some of the spring is already being used up?

-117 rear shocks are for 2-3" lift, so you will definitely want to get a leaf pack that is tailored to your new constant weight of +185 LB. We have great experiences using Deaver products and for your weight range, I think the U402-1 would be a great choice.

Hey I got a question. My dealer just called and said my coilovers were missing the top nuts to install one of my coilovers. Do you have any way of telling me what the thread pitch and size is of the nut? My coilovers are #985-02-015

Adding a preload spacer to a coilover that does not offer adjustability is already limited. You are asking that shock to do something it was not designed to do. Its a cheap option, so expect cheap results.

Unfortunately I don't have that kind of data on hand. I would give Fox a call or hopefully your dealer can match up the nuts to source locally.
