I'm definately going to have to do this to mine. Plan on grinding a notch and keeping them facing backward on driver rear.

Pins and needles is exactly right. I have the stock springs (13"600s?) and I feel everything. Handles hard bumps like a boss, but on the little stuff its horrble. At times its hard to even have a conversation! LOL Still not sure if I should do the 14"600 or 14"650. I dont have any weight up front. If anything, I would get a bumper down the road.

If you still have the Icons, slap them back on and send the DSCs to Accutune. Ryan upgraded my valving to the latest tune and I could not be happier. Also, clicker setting are everything on this platform. I'm not sure where yours are set to but mine are:
    (all from full soft/ ccw)
    Front
    LS - 1/4 turn cw
    HS - 4 clicks cw

    Rear
    1 click cw

Just remember, too soft on the hs can result in a crappy ride the same way too stiff can.

How much preload are 3rd gens running with the King 14" 600's?

Below is what I'm running (13" 600) and I like the stance, but not the ride. The amount of threads was the max recommended. (I'll get hub to fender measurements this evening) That's why I'm looking at the King 14" 600 and put less preload.

    Edit: hub to fender measurements - driver (23" 3/4) passenger (23" 1/4)

You might look at going to heavier springs if your preload is maxed out. That would probably help more than going with totally different shocks.

I had bought an 86' GT 5speed hatch with 33 miles from dealer after boot camp. Had Goodyear Gatorbacks that sucked in the rain but it was SOOO much fun! Sold it 23 years later to my best bud and his kid drifted it into a fire hydrant. There is a 84 SVO near me at work...

Did you run any spacers with the superbumps?

no spacers. I have the medium dakar pack so I'm about +2" and have the fox 2.0's for 3-5" lift. the 118's if iirc. my little rubber bushings on the shock shafts usually have about 1/2"-3/4" from bottoming out, so I'm pretty happy with the spacing.
