I tested the continuity of the speed sensor and it’s good.. I took it off and it looks, clean, not damaged or broken.

I removed the the wiring and tested continuity of the wires that run around UCA, there is a break in the continuity somewhere, the connectors or wire itself. I can’t find a break from looking at the wire.

I tested the connection point under the hood and it’s getting 12 volts.

So basically I narrowed it down to the wire, itself. 4WHEELPARTS had to have damaged the wire during installation of the fox coilovers. Pisses me off that they don’t own up to it.

But I in the bright side I got to spend the afternoon under the truck with my daughter turning wrenches and getting our hands dirty.

Does anyone know where I can get this wire?

Watch the wires to the speed sensor(for the abs/vsc) they attach to your UCA. They get stressed you will run into what I’m dealing with. Can’t wait to get my rear suspension set up like you getting. Good luck

Although I don't have any experience with it, I would imagine you will need to replace the wiring harness from the connection under the hood to the sensor unless you can find the break and splice or repair it. An illustrated parts break down should show the part.

Hopefully someone with some experience in this problem will chime in.

Edit: a quick Google search found this:

@cmbondo I looked hard to find it.. must be under the sheath of the wire, or at one of the connectors. Both wires have no continuity. Both are broken somewhere..

Is it possible to repair the connectors? The ones that plug into the sensor and under the hood.?

Take your meter and do a resistance check on the suspect sensor and compare it to a good one. If they show the same resistance reading then chances are the sensor is good.

Did you get your speed sensor wire sorted out?

Anyone know how long or approximately how many miles until the coilovers settle?

Mine sank quickly. About 1" in a couple days, loaded them more than about another .5" in a week. That was w/ only an aftermarket front bumper.
Rear Dakars haven't settled much in a few months even though I've had a couple extra hundred pounds near the tailgate trying to get them to soften a bit.

Anyone have some input on suspension. Bought mine with a bracket lift and stock shocks. Want fox gear. What rear shocks work? Front uca's? Front shocks? I think it's a 6" lift. Thanks
