I am trying to make my final decision on shocks for my 14 trd offroad dcsb and I have narrowed down the feild to Fox or King. My question is are there any real advantages to stying with one manufacturer? My rzr has fox shocks and it looks as if my future sxs choice is paired with fox as well. When I begin servicing shocks would I be ahead of the game dealing with the same brand or are they similar enough in basic design that it will not make a difference? Thanks in advance for your advice and opinions.

You plan to rebuild shocks yourself? There might be some benefits like using the same tools, same shock oil, etc.

Considering things like fox specific tools, common fox seal (as a general example) replacement, general service procedures.

I am considering doing my own service, probably not tuning or changing internals at first. There is much more I need to learn but figured I could start on the rzr and apply what I learn to my daily driver when confident.

We use King because of their customer service. We haven't used Fox so I can't say anything on that.

If you plan on doing your own service, King's rebuilt kits are very easy to get!

When you are ready to order King's, let me know! I can get you a great price!

    Thanks
