thanks for the hint chris, That is why I mainly want coilovers, I want to be able to adjust them to see which height I like the best. I'm kinda hoping to run 285's on my truck, and I know that I would need to do some trimming, but would I be able to run 285's on a 2.5" lift? Also what about my other questions?

285's are gonna rub with 3" or 2.5". Personally, your better off getting 265/75/16's. They are a 32" tall tire. What other questions did you have?

Since I have not had the TSB done on my truck, would I need to do an aal to the back in addition to the rear fox 2.0 shocks?

If your gonna bring the front up about 2.5", yes. Get an AAL.

Thanks for the help so far chris, Now if the dealer does end up doing the rear aal tsb on my truck, would I still need to do another aal on top of it?

Actually, the rear TSB is a whole new Leaf Pack with 4 new leafs. It depends on how you want the truck to look. I had the TSB done, and installed a 1" AAL. With a 3" lift, my rear is about 3/4" higher in the back.

I would like the front and back to be as level as possible.

Find out what the difference in height is after the TSB, then go from there.

thanks for all the help chris, i heard that you were the most knowledgeable on these forums, and i see why! At first I was going to get the toytec ultimate lift kit, and I saw that it came with a diff drop and some shims for the rear axle, would I need these things at well? While I'm asking, is there really that big of a difference between the toytec c/o's and the fox 2.0 c/o's? Would the toytec c/o's be stiff if set to 3" also?

I dont know about me beng the most knowlegable.....LOL....Lots of folks on here know their stuff. :)............There is a big difference between the 2 shocks. The Fox shocks have a better valving for the spring...better rebound dampening, to be accurate. I think the 2, when set at 3", would ride pretty similar. I never compared them back to back. I have never installed the shims on the rear of any truck I have lifted, and all have been without vibes. You may want to get the diff drop, and shims if you install your lift, and have vibes. Install the lift first to see if they are even gonna be needed.

the fox setup is awesome! i have the 2.0's on mine and the TC UCA's... couldnt be happier. as soon as you bolt them on and go for a ride you'll be smiling, they ride like a caddy! plus for the setup they give amazing flex...
