I was curious what you guys thought about the suspension system lift I am going with in a couple of weeks. I was told to avoid doing blocks and get a good suspension system. However, my knowledge of this stuff is minimal to say the least.

What other suspension parts would you recommend I add ? I don't do a lot of offroading so I'm going to be honest and say that I want a 3" lift with meaty tires mostly for looks. I also drive 90 miles a day (total) for work so I want as little fat to jiggle as possible on the terrible Maryland roads.

Would I be good to run 285s with this setup if I wanted to ?

Here is what the shop linked to me and recommended.

    Front 2.5 Factory Series Coil-Over IFP http://www.ridefox.com/product.php?...16-2005&position=Front&m=truck&p=9&ref=filter

    Rearhttp://www.ridefox.com/product.php?...016-2005&position=Rear&m=truck&p=1&ref=filter

Here is another truck that the exact same setup went on, including wheel/tire selection and size.

'05-'15 parts lose 1" of lift because of the '16s new spring rate and length.
Probably going to need upper control arms to correct alignment if you want 2"+ of lift.
285s will probably rub on inner plastic and/or mudguards. Might even rub on the cab mount.

I'm putting 285 70 r 17 tires on mine. Waiting for them to arrive. It's up to you what type of tire you want..I want tires to sing to me when I rolling down the maryland highways.
