Hey Will, shipment date depends on how fast we get the necessary number of committed buyers, have them all pay, then place the order. January could be in the window if we can get enough by the end of this month. Our last GB was about 2 months from the order date to receiving the product. I wish I could promise you that it will be here by January but I can't. This round will be for the awning and annex only. I only have so much time to devote to this and adding another item to the list will definitely extend our wait time and order time. I would need to have another 10-20 people commit for a RTT to get anywhere near a decent price and this will definitely delay things with the awning and annex. If I do decide to do one for the RTT I will definitely let you know.
Based on the info I provided, let me know if you're still wanting on the list.

    Thanks!

Cole, that looks awesome! Considering the amount of rain headed your way, this should come in handy. The longer L bracket is a great idea for those that have the lower profile bed racks.

Hey Matthew, PM me your full address and I can get you a quote for the awning. I don't have the shipping dimensions/info for the annex yet but when I do i'll provide that too.

Duh. I’m so stupid. I mounted mine really low so it would clear the tent. Not thinking that it opened to the other side. I’m blaming that on rushing to get mine installed. Or too many beers during install.

So at first i was like on man. This dude messed up. His awning is too high and his tent won’t open. Then...oooooh I’m the stupid one!:rofl:

Thank for posting. I need to move mine. Good thing I didn’t weld anything.

    Here's a pick of my Jeep. @SoCalTacos @TheDrMaSuess

It's a cheap rack I got from Amazon about three years ago. Not a Prinsu or Front Runner, but I've just used it for my spare and roof lights. I've gotten my money's worth out of it either way.

@tacolvr70 IMO you can either drill through the crossbars and bolt the bracket to the crossbars or bolt directly to those plates on your basket... either way looks like it could work. Only thing I'd be worried about is the length of the awning. It's about 6' so it would be much better to get some bolts in to the ends.

For those who have these awnings, which is better? Driver's side or Passenger?

I don't have an awning but I would do driver as my rtt opens passenger. Personal preference is all.

Yep. Mine opens driver side. So my awning is passenger side. :notsure:

So that way once I drive back to Cali we can go wheeling and our awnings open up towards each other

Mine was nearly in 2 pieces. Opened the box and everything inside was all good.

I wish I could deliver these myself or have everyone will call them. We're at the mercy of shipping companies, unfortunately. I'm sure the awning is okay inside. The manufacturer did a good job with the packaging and protecting the ends of the awning.

So I guess, it's just more preference? If anyone bought one side over the other for other than preference, please tell me why. I'm leaning toward the driver's side.

@SoCalTacos . Sent you a PM (is that the same thing as a "conversation"? Still new to this style of message board). Put me down for a driver's side awning please if you already haven't. Zip is 37323 if you didn't get the PM.

Thanks for putting this together. If you start up a RTT group buy, and the pricing may be similar to these awnings, I'll more than likely jump on that.

Alright guys, last call. Manufacturer confirmed the pricing and I'm hoping to place the order soon as I'm sure everyone wants their awnings and annexes asap. Please let me know if you want in, want to add anything, want to get one for your brother for Christmas...
If I missed anyone's commitment, didn't pm back regarding something, didn't get a question answered, please let me know.
    Thanks!

After this group buy, how would one be able to buy the annex or one of these if you don't do them anymore and at what estimated cost? I want one and would like to go ahead on this group buy but in laws just borrowed a chunk of change and my dog needs a growth removed, with Christmas around the corner I'm worried about funds.

If there's enough interest I'll do another. I could always order one piece for you but it might cost another $40 or so.
