In the op, the first picture is the square style. The other pictures are the standard triangle off the side.

Ok. So can you put me down for a 2m square foxwing awning in grey. Driver side mount, as well as the annex. Thanks

    Interested!!!!

Looking at previous GBs on which option

I know I want drivers side. Green or sand. I have a LB Tacoma, loooing to make custom brackets, wondering if I can make the supporting legs just a little taller, I know if it’s raining this would make the water run towards the truck, but I’m taller too lol

What’s the difference between the square option?

I’m also looking for pictures of a 2m awning mounted over a Long bed Tacoma. I just don’t want the awning to be too close to the cab or hang way out passed the truck

If you look closely at the first picture (black 3rd gen 4runner) all the pieces of the awning tarp are triangles. If you look at the last picture (red BMW X5) you see the first piece is square, followed by the remaining triangular pieces. Hope this helped.

Edit: my bad, both photos are regular. The square one is the very first picture with the green awning. Apologies.

What size would you suggest for a long bed with a shell?

Two meters is 6.5 feet. 2.5 meters is 8.2 feet. So the 2 meter fits pretty decent on the shell with no cab overlap. 2.5 meter will stick 2 feet, or approximately the rear door length over the cab. I cant speak for deployed size. OP can chime in.

For a 6ft bed I'd go with the 2m square.

The square is the shape of the awning off the side of the truck, then it wraps around in triangular pieces. If you have a long bed I'd go with the 2m awning. Itll be flush and not over the cab. Keep in mind, you can adjust where it mounts very easily using the rail system on the rear of the awning.

not hard at all. It's in sections and uses velcro and zippers to attach to the awning and to the other sections. It's very lightweight and you can attach as many sections as you want. You can completely enclose the awning or have only a few walls up.

There are no crossbars that connect each legs together through the top of the canopy is there? Only video I can find on YouTube showed some pipe sliding into the edge of the canopy

The legs will fit in the bag and then the bag in with the canopy too right? I know I want a square one. Just figuring out which color. I’m sure I’m going 2m as well

I wish I could find someone to split an annex option with me. I don’t want that many walls and would probably never use all of them

EDIT: Someone who has one of these should do a set up and tear down video ;)

There are no crossbars, tension pretty much keeps the awning tight between the poles. The annex has it's own bag to store it in as well. everything that comes with the awning itself will fit into the bag mounted on the truck for storage. I'd go with grey on a black truck, but to each his own...
As far as the panels go, you could use as many and as little as you want. Couldn't hurt to have some "extra", in case they get damaged.

some pictures of the annex from a member. He already has a full setup and just ordered 3 more sets. He's provided some great feedback on these.

    Thinking Tan or Green
My boot bags are Tan and idk if I want it all green
Looking to put it on drivers side and wrap around the back. Just trying to figure out how I can prop open the drivers side window if I put the 270awning there....

are you going to mount it to your roof rack or bed rack? it shouldnt interfere with the window if its on your roof rack. If it's on your bed rack, you could mount it far enough towards the rear so it doesn't interfere with the window.
