Aside form the extra area, would the triangular awning be inherently more stable in very windy conditions?

In VERY windy conditions, I don't think there's going to be much difference. You technically shouldn't set these up in very windy conditions. They do have the ropes to tie them down, but still.

These prices are based on my cost, shipping, broker fees, and any taxes associated with importing. It may be worth it for some and not for others. That's for you to decide. In my research, youd be paying over $600 for a similar awning only. With that said, for $600 you could have an awning and annex for your camping setup. To each his own, I guess.
Just for reference, rhino rack sells individual walls for $180...so $340 for a complete enclosure seems fair to me.

Want to mount it on my drivers side bed rack. Going to try and get it mounted up high on it though, I’m too tall to mount it real low.
Hope it wraps around and covers up my tailgate and swing-out

As far as the window I’m talking about, the drivers side window on the tent, the rods that hold up the window, I want to put the awning up there and the awning will probably be in the way. Hmmmmmmm
I need to figure something out

My warehouse is in Glendale. If you're local you can save on the shipping costs and will call them from my location.

If you mount it on your bed rack itll definitely wrap around and cover the tailgate. You would probably have to fabricate something to get it mounted higher though. If I was you, I would mount it on the roof rack towards the rear and save the trouble of fabricating something to raise it on the bed rack. The mount to the awning is on a rail system, so you could loosen it when you get to camp and slide it towards the rear of the cab.

Only problem with that is I have a longbed and if it’s too far forward it won’t reach the tailgate before it starts to wrap around

I plan on fabricating my own mounts anyway, that’s easy for me. I really love to see one in person, but no one close to me does anything with their trucks other than cruise through parking lots. May just have to buy one and see what I can do. A 2m is 6.6’ Long right?

    Yep.
Only difference is the first forward portion.

SQUARE = Square - 1st pic in OP
STD = Triangle - 2nd pic in OP
