    The lift wouldnt dictate what length awning to get, in my opinion. The 2m is the more popular option, mostly based on shipping rates and the fact that the extra 18" or so makes it a very long awning. I would recommend the 2m.

    The length (2m or 2.5m) is from one end of the awning to the other. The segment length will differ with each portion.
