So I bought my truck used 2 yrs ago, got new leafs, and they coated my frame, which gave me 15yrs from start of service, so till 2023 to replace the frame.
I live in northern Ontario, so you'd think with all our salt that I'd have a well worn frame.
Unfortunately, I went under to do a hammer and scraper test, and the damn thing's as solid as steel. Lots of surface rust, but nothing that'll perforate anytime soon.
Guess I may as well just undercoat the whole thing.

When I bought mine off lease with NO "extras", (Just gimme the keys). The sales dept. was all hell bent to get me to buy something. They started talking rust prevention before I asked if we were "all done here now" & left. Last time I had a truck "professionally" undercoated, every fastener took 15 min. of scraping just to see its size. I think they even left the engine running as the fan blew the shit all over the engine bay too. Masking off the fasteners makes too much sense.

Not something that should be posted. Use your imagination.

If it's just a little surface rust use POR15

    Seems dishonest to me.

Can we also assume you have no Google skills?

fyi. if you would have hit it with a hammer and then had it in inspected they wont cover it
if it looks like the hole was forced they will not cover it
