I believe the word is "woot"...

The frame is covered in weld spatter and the welds have a relative inconsistency which makes me guess that it had been welded on a jig by hand.

If this is at the Milton dealer I definitely saw this. Coating didn't look to bad from my slow drive by. I think this is their second frame swap.

The first one I saw looked like this

Regardless keep us posted on their service if this is the Milton dealer. Would like to know how they are to deal with. Good luck with all of it!

Aaaaaaand we are back. In black.

Picked the truck up mid day between customers and put it right to work.

100 km later it's in the driveway

So far so good, I am very happy to have my truck back.

Okay so I've had the truck back for 2 weeks and there have been a couple of issues.

    1. Missing engine cover. They found it but not the nuts to hold it on.

    2. They left 2 screws in the cup holder. Wonder where they belong?

    3. Missing wheel well liner driver's side front.

    4. Missing clips for remaining wheel well liners.

    5. A/C not working as well as when I picked it up. Slow leak?

    6. Inverter not functioning. Missed connection?

    7. Shifter loose between D and N.

    8. Truck had been detailed before they did the work and was returned to me a mess. Including many interior panels not properly clicked in to place.

The truck will go back next week for these issues to be resolved. Just documenting for reference.

Looks like they got it back to you too fast. I can understand a couple small issues here and there considering they rebuilt the truck. Mind you the dirty interior would piss me off. that could have been cleaned or prevented. I guess everything could have been prevented if they went over it. Hope it all gets resolved.

    Yikes!

Talk to the Service Manager with your list of problems. They should solve every single one. If they give you any problems then call Toyota Canada and start raising hell.

I don't understand how someone can say something is finished without even doing a basic walk around. It's infuriating the lack of care and just disregard of quality that goes into some of the work that people put out.
