Probably not bent. When you welded on the frame, the frame pulled/warped down. Mine did the same. Shim the box and worry about something else on a 20+ year old truck.

Throw a straight edge on the frame you’ll know if it’s bent pretty quick.

That really won't work. Too many bends in the frame to begin with.

Would work if we’re talking about a horizontal bend but it’s a vertical one

A little late to respond here but when you did the welding on the rear of the frame did you happen to run a level between the front bed body mount and the middle bed mount? That may tell you all you need to know. When I did the repair on my frame I kept a level on both points to make sure it didnt wonder out too bad.

Random question do you work or live in Timonium by chance? Pretty sure i see that truck parked near my shop.

No... I did not level the frame lol. Guess it is what it is. Time to box it and shim the bed I guess.

But yeah man I live in Timonium! I work for outdoor lighting perspectives. What's your shop called?

Yeah that wont be too bad of a job to straighten out at least.

Yep, you are at the opposite end of the parking lot. I'm at 9540, its called Loadometer Corp. We sell portable wheel load scales to law enforcement.

    I still can :)

We have a pretty large presence in PA with roughly 2200 scales up there in CMV enforcement. We do sell a good amount to private industry as well.
