Hey guys I need your feedback, I just got my truck washed at an automatic car wash and i always select the premium as they offer a wheel clean, it’s basically two rotating pressure washer jets that you drive by when entering, i drive super slowly as i like for it to clean my salty frame.. now when i got home i looked to see if it did a good job and came across this, looks like the paint was stripped off, i treat my truck with the best antirust they offer, what do you guys think? Should i paint over it to prevent rusting? Is it normal that the paint was removed so easily? It feels like bar steel

I would hit it with fluid film.

I don't see any paint stripped off... That's the remnants of a sticker. And it still looks like there is greasy/oily/filmy stuff on the frame.

Don’t paint nothing, FF or wool wax every fall and your frame will be protected.

I gotta say, it does look an awful lot like numbers and letters starting to show through..

What is this "best antirust they offer"? Kinda looks to me like lots of layers of black woolwax or similar, the carwash took some of it off and now you can see the sticker

GOOD EYE...I had to look at it for a while to notice the sticker outline and numbers.
