Problem for me right now is we sold our house (with a garage) and now live in an apartment. There is a parking deck here, but they would probably not look too kindly on me taking apart a truck... :)

Also, I'm not sure if I have the tools to do a disassembly and part it out. So I'd have to find a way to do it all or nothing I think.

Here in Georgia, there are only emission inspections, so I think I would be OK. However, you're right I don't want to keep doing this over and over again.

Then sell your Truck Complete as is !!

Being very specific of the rust .Lots of pictures

Why let a Salvage yard make the money parting it out

If you were close to me

The Thing about repairing this or building a new one once you have to pay Shop rates the labor is a killer Would you want to put $2 to 3 thousand or more in a 99 Tacoma ??

Ball park Figures it costs Toyota $12,500 to swap a Tacoma 4x4 Frame .

You can`t buy a new one Because The people who bought Dana can`t keep up with demand !! For the Warranty claims

Be nice to have the fixtures and Jigs to make these .

At this time no one knows How these new frames will hold up

Thank you. This is a good, useful post. Would you be willing to post pictures of the access holes, and info on the kind of oil you spray in there? Also, when painting the outside with grease, is there any prep needed besides maybe pressure washing it?

    Thanks,
    MF
