    Hello,

Shopping for a Tacoma, have one I am going to see in the next few days. Not new to Toyotas currently driving an FJ that replaced a 4Runner…both I spent time hunting for their clean frame etc. Never a truck or anything other than rust on seams in my experience.

This Tacoma is from North Carolina. Engine looks clean, no rust on the clips etc. Some pics of the leafs, normal surface rust?

The frame seams and some spots on the frame are why I figured I’d ask…ever seen this before? Think someone cleaned or treated…anything to be concerned with here? Any help/thoughts would be appreciated. I should see it by end of week, in the meantime best pics I could get from them underneath.

I’ve bolted some stuff to it *lists cool stuff here*
cleaned maybe but I don’t think there’s any attempts to cover things up.. dealer or owner? Model year? Mileage?

Looks like a very well maintained rig from the photos..

Thanks! It is a dealer, just shy of 30k on a 2017.

Looked for my low mileage ‘14 FJ 6 speed for a few years, so I may be being picky. Going to miss it, but need a bed.

That frame looks pristine compared to many (pics) I've seen from the east coast.
