Frame recall

Has anyone in canada heard about the frame recall. Just wondering because they wanted me to get undercoat put on in a letter i recieved. Just curious if any canadians have had this and had it replaced

 

Had my 08 undercoated when I bought it in '16 from the dealership. Inquired last year about this recall, and was told I'm covered for 15 years from service date, because I've had the coating done.
DO get the coating done, no matter what others say.

 

There, just dropped her off for a new frame. Changing shocks all around, and new tires. Can't wait to get her back.

 

mine is there right now, and im from New-Brunswick.

 

I thought it was 12-years for the service date. That's what mine is in the US and I've gotten burnt by that, over only a few months.

 

Well, there you go. It's done! Went in 4/10/19. Called and asked if I could go take a quick look 4:00pm, they said sure. I get there, and it's in the back yard and done. Saw the rusted frame on the shop floor, but they brought the truck back in on the hoist so I could see.
Done on 5/10/19. Sweet! I get her back tomorrow.

What about you Llamasmurf? Any word on your frame? I read there's a new "recall" for 2011 -2015? Your frame good on that beast?

I had it undercoated this year with the same stuff by a shop. I wanted my new to me ARB bumper coated, and they did it as part of the cost. They did a really good job.
