Frame recall

Well just got off the phone with Toyota USA and yes my 14 Tacoma is part of the frame recall . It is going in to Penn Toyota in Long Island NY. Toyota informed pass or fail it will be cover to 2026. Thank you every one here for keeping us u to date on this truck .
Should I ask the dealership any questions .

 

My father in law has a 12 with alot of surface rust and he went in and the looked at it and documented it but said it didn’t qualify. So now are the doing 2.5 gens?

 

campaign was extended to 2017's. this time you have to take it in within two years for a check up... if it passes you get a coating which will extended your replacement window. if you don't take it in and have it coated, you lose out at the two year mark.

 

I just got a recall notice on my truck. Its an 11. Thing that may hurt me is that it was a CO truck until i moved to VT 4 years ago. Would be sweet if they offered to buy it i have been toying with getting a 4runner
