Standard Cab Prerunner - looking to find something similar to this that will work. Can't find anything for the Gen2 Standard Cab models

SafeTCap® Frame repair kit to repair the front frame on the 2nd Gen Tacoma Access cab and Double cab models.

    Any insight appreciated

I was thinking the same thing as well, probably not offered as regular cabs are relatively uncommon (i.e. not enough demand to justify).

For anyone interested I emailed Safe-T-Cap:

I have a 2007 standard cab Tacoma Prerunner. Will I be able to purchase part number TAC-230X/D-L and cut the length accordingly to fit my standard cab? It appears that the front section is the same on all tacoma trucks and the only difference would be the length heading towards the rear. My truck is in great shape except for the bad area of the frame.

    Thanks

    The RESPONSE:

    Hi,

The 230X/D-L will not need to be cut. If you were to need the 231 you would cut that piece to make it work, it is a straight cut easy peasy. If you end up needing the 232, 233 or 234 you just need to purchase the X version of those parts.

Please indicate if the truck is a Automatic of Manual transmission when ordering the 230.

    Regards,
