Anyone have the info on any deadline? Toyota told me the previous owner didn't take advantage of the frame replacement deal... And now

My truck is going to need a new/ used set of rails!
    2004 crew cab 4x4.

I'm currently in the same boat is you. Here is my recent thread on the issue:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/frame-replace-options.371181/

Here is what I know (think I have all of the details right, somebody correct me if I'm off please):

If the truck was registered in one of the states designated by Toyota as a cold weather state, whether you have a chance at the replacement or not depends on whether the previous owner took the truck in for an inspection when they mailed him a warning.a few years ago. If he did that by end of 2011 (end of 2012 in NY) you should have a good case for a replacement, as that should have extended his frame warranty by 15 years from original sale date of truck. Looks like you are in MS now? I'm not certain, but I believe that a truck that has always been registered in a state that is not a cold weather state automatically gets the 15 year frame warranty, so if that is the case you should also have a good chance for replacement. Not sure exactly what the rules are if the truck has been registered in both "cold" and "warm" states over the years. There are plenty of threads on here with more info.

My truck CAME from a cold weather state"
Marine or somewhere- not sure if anyone Did the inspection...
But the lawsuit stated the Frame not lasting the life of the vehicle shouldnt have much to do with cold or warm state bc Ppl travel!
I know that was in the suit agreement....seems odd the judge would agree to such.
