LoL positive contribution to the conversation!

They do, which is why I'm so confused. This makes no sense, and they're lying to OP by telling him that Toyota requires you to bring the truck back to stock before working on it.

@OP, the only other thing I can think of is that they are concerned with cutting the crossmember on the new frame when they do the swap?

Either way, this frame recall ends in March. I would highly recommend trying your luck with another dealer to get it replaced. You rate a brand new frame, no doubt.

I can see them not wanting to cut the new frame. They aren't denying the warranty, they just don't want the responsibility/liability of cutting a new frame.
I doubt the techs have ever installed a fabtech kit. I sure as hell wouldn't want to hack a new frame up without any experience. Who pays if the job is done wrong? Toyota doesn't sell or install fabtech kits and their techs aren't trained to do them.

With a normal spring lift there is nothing on the frame to modify so it wouldn't be a liability concern.

Okay OP, this is making more sense. I think my initial anger at your moronic dealership has faded, and I'm understanding now.

That kit may actually be a hindrance, given that they likely don't know how to re-install it and, as @Snowman mentioned, they probably don't want to cut the frame.

I don't think they meant that they don't work on modified trucks - we all know that's not true. However, I think yours has some frame-related mods that are causing them to pull back from it.

I don't even know what a good answer to this problem is.

The service guy referenced a truck with a work body or stake body that they wouldn't touch aswell.

And as far as the lift is it's the same style they fit to the ones they up fit and sell so it's not custom or homemade
