frame replacement

Bought a tacoma on wednesday, on Saturday found not only a 2" hole in the frame but also a crack running from top to bottom of the frame where the hole was just behind the right leaf spring perch, the crack was hidden behind all the crud that the oil spray had collected. Took it to the dealership we deal with at our shop on Monday, got the approval for a frame replacement under warranty today!!!(which i understand is a pretty quick response for approval) Its like christmas in march, getting a way better truck than i paid for and dodged a huge bullet. Now its worth mentioning that the previous previous owner had the frame inspection done in july 2009 and the anti-corrosion treatment was applied at that time extending the frame warranty to 15 years from the date of registration. Gonna be a couple months before i see it again but worth the wait to me. Got a gas miser 2015 corolla while i wait
