Okay guys I need some help. My 2006 tacoma with 329,800 miles is getting the frame replaced this coming month. I am wondering what all I should consider replacing when Toyota pulls the motor for the frame replacement. So far I have a new lower motor mount. I am considering the power steering rack and water pump. Thanks in advance. Cheers

Water pump is not touched during frame swap so it's going to cost regular price, steering rack if it's leaking might be able to get changed with no labor cost. Motor mounts would be good, replace the rubber brake lines between the calipers and hard lines, between the rear axle and hard lines, (not included in frame replacement although all hard lines are included).

Think more of suspension and brakes, if they have to unbolt it, they should be able to replace with new without labor cost.

Unless you have an in with the service manger, they are going to try and get any extra's priced out for them to make cash.

I'm surprised Toyota doesn't have some type of mileage cutoff for replacements. 329k, and it's getting a new frame? Seems like a waste. I would think it would be in both parties best interest in a case like this, for Toyota to offer the cost of frame, labor, and avg. rental fees (mine was ~$14,000) towards a new truck.
