From my quick google search and what I remember from living in Georgia for 26 years there is no vehicle safety inspection, only emission inspection. And lemon laws in Georgia only protect new cars. So it seems that buying a vehicle in Georgia is a buyer beware type of situation.

Guess it's up to each state then, I'm not 100% sure but I'm fairly certain if this had happened in California then he'd have a case against the dealer he bought it from. Might be more trouble than it's worth to pursue, but that's another issue entirely.

I think that everyone wants to have their problems remedied. But at a certain point, especially when the remedy has already been put in place, you just have to accept that some things suck and try to learn from mistakes and mishaps.

My frame cracked at the pasenger rear strut mount. Not covered by warranty. I have a 2001 did undercoating in 2010.

The poor quality metal caught up with my truck!

Do you think this could be repaired? Had one shop tell me no so far. Seems like these frame plates might help from CBI.

Question for the forum would be can i remove the strut entirely on that side? I have a 1.5" AAL. will my drive rack the suspension possible causing the wheel to move forward and back on that side in relation to the wheel well? Trying not to die driving the truck on the highway!!

I dont want to get rid of it but it doesn't look great now.
