frame rust on my 05

    Nothing serious IMO. Just surface rust.

    A few.
    The rear leafs and axle are the first place rust starts on any truck that is driven in a area with road salt. If those areas that have rust are of concern just give the whole undercarriage a good high pressure spraying and either touch up all the rust areas with a can of rustolem every spring or have it undercoated.

    It's been said, but I will echo some of the comments posted.

    This is the result of not undercoating your truck and its nothing to worry about. Just think of us up here in Canada, we would have seen that 2-3 years after buying a new truck. Its normal and nothing to be of concern.

    HOWEVER; Do have it rust proofed/undercoated yearly and you will never have a problem.
