So I spent approximately 7k on a 98 prerunner really sharp truck the problem is I didn't take a good look at the frame so I've established that this is my fault well so far I've eliminated options toyota can't do anything as far as recalls or repairs the dealer I bought it from has a paper says AS IS so no options there that was all the money I had so I can either attempt to have someone weld the frame maybe get me 5 years out of it (115kmiles on her)or my least favorite option trading it in on something newer and having a payment FYI I'm recently divorced and banktrupt so credit isn't the best I can be approved just at a devastating interest rate and my insurance is high due to a recent wreck well the dealers will give me around 4k for it so I'm just looking for some wise words and please no douche bag comments I realize this is my fault! Thanks In advance

Sorry to hear man! That looks a lot worse than something I would weld up. It can be done though. Find a buddy who welds for beer, pull the bed, chop all that frame out, then basically build a new section of frame.

That's what I'm hoping weld it up as solid as possible and roll on!
