I see "suspension, springs" listed on there. Are these the rear leafs by chance does anyone know. If so, I wonder if they are included due to the rear leaf recall or if they are separate.

Toyota switched vendors for the frame May of 2008.I have had mine inspected and there is just minimal surface rust. The trailer hitch as significant rust.

Some are getting the recall springs with the new frame some are having to bring the truck back for recall springs. But to answer your question they do replace the leaf springs.

I didn't notice anything on the list about balljoints... but heard upper and lowers were included, as well as shocks and such?? (I'm not looking for shocks, but was wondering if they were going to replace the ball joints, and bushings for the A-arms, etc??

Day one of frame replacement. Reported to the dealership as requested at 0700. (really early for me since I work 2nds). Filled in the service rep regarding the new shocks and AAL sitting in my truck and picked up my loaner: 2015 Camry Hybird. The car is ok, I figure I can put up with it for the 2-3 days that the service guy says it will take to get the job done.

Late in the day and no word on anything needing replacement. So that's good news, Right? I cruise by the dealership late at night after work to sneek a peek and there's my truck, in the same exact spot in the parking lot where I left it. Untouched.

No shocks, no UCA bushings, no upper ball joints, no spindles, no tie rod ends, no wheel bearings but you do get new lower control arms with lower ball joints. Search for covered components.pdf. It's a drawing of all the parts that get replaced in the US. Might be different in Canada.

You're talking to a guy who waited 2 weeks while they did the work. Only to have to bring it back and wait another week for them to fix the fuck ups.

I'm hoping that since Toyota has replacing these things for so long that they've got it down. That said, after studying these forums for the last 6 months, I've built a return visit in to my expectations. Supposed to be ready late tomorrow.

Got a call today. They offered to fix the timing cover leak for ~$1000. I bypassed since my oil level hasn't changed from my November oil change. TW forum helped me make an educated choice. ;) I know a few quality mechanics that can do it later, for less, if it gets to be a problem.

My frame has been ordered, my truck is '07' DCSB Off road 108K on the odometer, so after the frame replacement I am looking for a good vendor to do a sunroof as that's the only option in the new ones I really like otherwise after the roof URD blower! The Rotrex kit.

Got my truck back in one piece on Saturday. Added 5100's x 4 with front set at 0. OME 885's and Headstrong progressive AAL's on back. Also used 1/4" spacer on the drivers side for Taco lean. The recall leaf springs were installed with the frame replacement. With the add-on's I gained 2.5" in the front and 2" in the back.

I was worried that I might need new UCA's, but they got the alignment right on the money. The service rep suggested bigger tires..... I'm haven't noticed a big difference in the ride, but didn't get a chance to drive much over the weekend.

Still waiting on my frame to come in I think Ive got about another 6 weeks to get to the 3 months they initially told me. I want to do this exact same set up on mine. Did they install all your new parts for free? How much do you think you spent on the parts all together?
