Hi guys, I'm not sure how I missed updating this thread, but I wanted to make sure I linked my experience with the frame replacement on a 2007 here for you. Best of luck to all - I was treated really well in the process.

What? A bad frame with only 10,000 miles! I have a hard time believing that. Then they come to you with a huge list ($17,000) of repairs. I can see some bad seals but that list seems a little (lot) extensive for 10K miles.

Have an 06 I am the second owner inspection on Monday so I cleaned off the bottom of the truck and found the following. Any thoughts? Im concerned about the first picture because its almost the same on the opposite side of the truck. I almost didn't see this. Are there any other spots not so obvious that I should try and document before the inspection?

Just got mine back, no problems. They replaced my brake/fuel lines, both LCA's, and they even washed my truck and shined the tires after they were done. Dude even dressed my loose wiring for my LED's and ziptied them. Highly recommend Midway Toyota in Pocomoke, MD if you are in the neighborhood.

The pictures rather speak for themselves, I'm afraid. Still have some work to do, but I'm loving the truck so far!

Get a screwdriver and push on those spots (hard). Your frame looks like it's on its way out. You have 12 years from in service date. Good Luck:fingerscrossed:

If you have a 2006 you may be out of time. What is the in service date of your truck? if you have time take a hammer to the worst spot and try to break through. Some dealers put more effort into getting a frame to fail than others maybe try another dealership that does a lot of frame replacements. Do you live in a cold weather state? You might be able to get it crc'd. My dealer told me he managed to poke hole in my frame but its not big enough yet but I have a 2009 so I have plenty of time for that hole to become big enough.

It’s a Wyoming/ Colorado truck. I thought that the CRC would be applied. Do you have a list of states?
I’ll have to check the in service date.

Its amazing how in 40,000 miles this truck started to rust out. When I bought it I looked it over and there was nothing significant.
What are my options now that I appear to be out of the service time frame.

Got my 2007 truck frame replaced. Took about 2.5 months. Even got the dealer to install Nitrochargers and wheelers AAL for free! There is some driveline vibe at super low RPM that im upset about. Looking to get dealer to take care of that.

You have 12 years from date of first use or one year from date of settlement. Settlement was 5/21/2017 so in one week you will be out of the warranty enhancement program. Did you recently have it inspected and it passed? If so you are probably out of luck. If you did not have it recently inspected try getting it in before next week. Try to pound a hole through with a hammer before you go in.

I know the feeling. Mine passed a couple years ago and they CRC’d it. Checked the frame during a oil change back in March and found a crack turned out to be rusted out. New frame worthy. Just stay informed about the status and conditions of this law suit. It may change in your favor.

I just noticed this last Friday. Crack about 3-4 inches. I can literally move that piece of metal above the crack with my hand. 2007 with 67K

I would get to a dealership, stat, if it were mine. You should have a year to do so, but why push one's luck?
