    Nothing. Just got it.
    Hey everybody!

I've had my tacoma for a year now, and only just got a chance to take a really good look at the frame on a lift with my own eyes. The truck received the coating from toyota in 2014 due to the recall, but is showing some rust in a few key spots. I've attached a few pictures. Other than these spots, the frame is in great shape.

I'm just wondering how bad it is. Is there anything I can do to repair these spots? Would it be worth selling? How much longer have I got on this frame?

Let me know your thoughts! Anything helps.

I've seen worse but it could use some attention. I would suggest removing all the loose stuff you can, use some rust converter on it, hit it with some Rust Oleum, wait a week or so for it to cure well, then hose the piss out of it with the rust preventative of your choice.
Personally, I like to use Fluid Film, then a few days later follow up with something a little thinner like Liquid Wrench rust preventative spray. I think the thinner stuff wicks into the sandwiched areas of the frame better than Fluid Film. FF is good stuff though.
If properly addressed now, you should get several more years out of it.

The cab mount could easily be replaced.
