Frame rust - when to walk away from a purchase?

    Mine had a hole in the frame where the catalytic converter was close to the frame - you couldn't even see it unless you knew about it - thank goodness the tech who inspected it knew and wanted the work - the rest of the frame was perfect but I got a new one because he found it - I have a 2.7 - at any rate check that area.
