While I had my cylinder heads off and had a better view, I noticed a lot of rust on the frame on the right (passenger) side of the engine bay.

There is not nearly that much rust in the left side. Is this a common occurrence? I am located in the mid Atlantic, for climatic considerations.

Surface rust. Really good wash at max nozzle and move to a salt free area. While it's open spray it with stuff. LOL, "Tis just a scratch, it'll buff out"

All cars in you're area do it. Should see what salt did to the 1950 cars, it would freak you out.

You drive through more water on the right side of the truck, so more spray in that side.
