I received the frame class action suit settlement notice yesterday, thought those that had not yet received it would like to see what it looks like. No action needed on my part as the frame on my always a Florida truck '09 looks like new...

That's just for those specific states and just for the spray treatment. The frame replacement is still 12 years or 1 year from settlement date.

I received one as well. I'm confused Do we have until May 21, 2018 to get the frame replaced? What if its fine now but in 2019 it has serious corrosion. Or we then screwed?

Never mind, just talked to Toyota Reps. You have the full twelve years before warranty runs out. If you have an 05, then you would possibly get an extra year (13 yrs) to 5/21/2018. You can inspect the truck now at no cost and get it inspected again at no cost 2 years down the road as long as you're in the warranty period.

got mine last week, my 09 frame is pretty bad. I won't park in the driveway while it's raining because it leaves rust spots all over the place.

the rust doesn't appear to be ate through anywhere so I've doubtful they would replace though.

Whack it with a ball peen. It will likely go thru somewhere. It's rotting just as much inside as outside. Maybe more at certain points where moisture is retained.
