Anyone ever be involved in purchasing a franchise? My wife and I were thinking about it, but I have my reservations. I had a buddy that owned a few Italian Ice shops. They were closed in the winter, but he said he still did ok with them.

We were looking at a few. Something easy that didnt require a ton of up front investment or constant supervision. At first we were thinking about a frozen yogurt shop, but since we live in CO now and everyone is so health conscience, my wife is a big Jamba Juice fan and there aren't any where we live. Its just a thought right now. I know some you can make a ton of money, and others you basically buy a min wage job.
