Who is “Frank?” Not seeing a reason to click the link for his monetary gain.

A cursory web search suggests the flap thing has been law for more than a decade in AZ. Sounds like a regional issue for people living in AZ than a broader third gen issue.

 

Relax. Frank is a weekly 5 min. YouTube segment about a Pinal County deputy (Frank) pulling over people in his AZ county. Fun watch.

That list is out of date. I wouldn't treat it as gospel.

As an example, Oregon has current requirements for fenders/mudflaps (ORS 815.180)
and the state isn't listed on that site.

The episode where he has his mother with him on a ride along is funny. I lived in Casa Grande a million years ago, I'm amazed at how much traffic is there now, and how many people speed like idiots. It was a pretty cool place back then, heard it has grown a lot.

It’s one of the most entertaining videos on YouTube. I’m not a big YouTube watcher, maybe 2 to 3 shows a week but I watch this one every week. Frank makes zero, none, nada $$$. The videos are put on by and sponsored by the Pinal county Sheriff’s department. Officer Frank is as good guy a great personality. He gives more warnings than actual citations. He works traffic not patrol although he does get involved occasionally in criminal enforcement. What it’s really about is all the jerks, idiots, dumb shits and assholes he deals with daily and he does it with a great sense of humor. He has a lot more patience dealing with these people than I did. It’s kind of like the tv program “Cops” but instead of criminal stops it traffic stops. He’s so well known and personable and likable that several people that he pulls over ask to have their picture taken with him, a selfie with Frank. Most of the hateful and negative comments about the show are obviously based in ignorance, people who have never watched the videos or maybe watched one .

 

If you can't handle jerks all day don't get into the business of being a traffic cop. Plain and simple.
