Figure I would start a build/adventures thread, kinda just a place for me to post about my truck and my adventures. I wanted to start with an sr5 this time and the Trail edition kinda hit all the marks for a great place to start. You might also see me post here about some of my other hobbies like camping, fishing, lego, Rc cars and my TW200.

Here he is brand new all clean waiting for us to meet for the first time lol. 34768F9B-3901-4F07-9A05-776BF41F5CB9.jpg

First mod was SCS gen5 -10 offset. BFG KO2 267/70r17 on stock suspension, went 265 to avoid trimming and I honestly love how 265 look on a taco. 7C50C78C-B488-4026-BEC1-4CCA3D3C1D88.jpg

Been working on a camper build for a lil bit. Currently can’t decide how overbuilt I want to do the exterior. 0ED9EEF2-DAAE-4DCE-A575-83E691053243.jpg

Eibach pro-truck stage 2 lift w/ 1” blocks in the rear (full deavers leaf pack when funds are available). Out of the box it put all four corners at 38” with a lil bit of taco lean up front on the driver side. Going to turn down the front about 1/2” tomorrow and to bring back a lil bit of rake and fix the lean while I’m at it. Only put about 10 miles on it so far but I like how it firms up the truck and give a planted feel. For a camping rig this kit will do just fine.

That dang camper build lol, it looks exactly like the picture still :facepalm:and I absolutely love the trail edition, basically just an sr5 but with a few goodies like the bed outlet, black overfenders, and color matched rear bumper. I wanted a simple model without all the gadgetry so this was a perfect choice for me, call me a boomer but I love my key ignition lol.

I kind of miss the key ignition haha. Trail edition sounds pretty awesome, everytging you need. Trust me i know all too well about projects that just end up sitting for a bit lol.

My girl reminds me every day that it’s still taking up half our garage lol but I am glad to say I have recently been reinspired on building it, I was just kinda at a writers block on how to finish out, kinda wanted to get some aluminum and skin it but I think I’m just going to go with the rustic look and use the ceder I have.
