Thanks I appreciate the comments. Making me rethink the whole raising the back. I am liking the level look. I hated the way my last truck squeaked after the aal thats why I figured a small 1" block would be better. I may just leave it the way it is or add a whole after market leaf pack if they come in 1".

I think you would be safe, as long as you are prepared to replace them with a full pack down the road when you get a new trailer. I bought my 2014 tacoma certified used with 20k, the previous owners had a 1 inch block and towed a pop up camper everywhere. They were done, shocks too. I could jump on the bumper and make it hit the bump stops lol

So my hitch weight is 365 if that makes a difference. I have always planned on the leaf pack down the rode. The TW rabbit hole never ends. hahahahahahahaha
Does anyone know if they make a 1" higher leaf pack?
Am I the only one that experience a ridiculous amount of squeaking from an AAL?

O.K. so I am thinking I will use the 1" block for now, considering it just showed up today and it easy to take out if it sucks, and if there are any symptoms of anything bad I will order the Dakars as you can remove a leaf which should be able to give a lift less than 2".
Either way I will get the Dakars eventually.

Damn that suspension and those wheels better be made out of gold if you spent $25,000-$30,000 on all those things:bananadead: that’s almost just as much as your truck! Should’ve just purchased another taco:boink:

You used a block correct? Did you notice any ride difference?

Yeah a block was used in the rear. In my opinion it rides better than stock, but it’s still a little too bouncy for my liking. Will be looking to replace it with a AAL as that’ll give about a 1” lift.

Thanks man. The modding addiction is nothing new to me especially after the past 4 motorcycles. Then I bought the perfect 2 wheel machine so I needed to get the mod energy out some how.lolimage000000_02.jpg

Same here. I don’t tow or anything like that so it’s not a huge issue, just more of a preference at this point:hattip:
