Anyone interested in a drywall carrier? I made this to haul 10' pieces. It bolts in where the 2 D-rings are. You remove the D-rings and bolt this in. Use some cargo straps and you're good to go. I'm getting ready to move to a rental property, so I won't need this. Pick up in O'Fallon, MO. The tailgate does close with it folded inside. Please PM if you want it. Need it gone soon or I will need to dismantle it.

    This is ingenious! Bravo sir!
I second the request for a cut list and simple sketch with where each board length is located and overall completed dimensions.

This is genius. I just picked up some in my shortbed and was worried they would break off on the way home. Wish you were closer, I still have lots more remodeling to do.

You’re the man! I think this might become one of those things on TW that sticks around for quite some time. I know I was frustrated when i realized how hard it was to transport 4’ wide sheets easily in my bed.
I work at a sheet metal shop and the thoughts of being able to load heavier sheets of metal in my bed confidently is awesome.
Thank you for taking the time to document this for all of Tacoma kind!

No problem. It surprises me you didn't make one out of steel considering your job. I initially was going to weld up a square steel tube frame, but decided on wood because it's much less expensive and I wouldn't need to worry about it rusting. It just takes up a ton of space when not being used.
