So I scored a free set of yoko geo a/t's in a 305/70r16 with less than 500 miles on them. And since tire fitment threads seem to be everyone's favorite I figured you all wouldn't mind another one

So my biggest concern is how the hell am I gonna get these to fit? There is one caveat, I want to keep my truck as low as I possibly can. It's an 07 TRD o.r. fwiw.

I'm assuming the typical cutting and trimming will be necessary (cab mount chop, pinch weld, etc.) I also am in the process sussing out which front bumper I plan to run. I'm currently on stock wheels, but I plan to pick up a set of the SCS F5 wheels with the 3.5 backspacing. As well as a full set of Bilstein 5100's. Suggestions on springs would be most appreciated, btw.

The real brain scratcher is the upper control arm clearance. I know the fan favorite is SPC or some other aftermarket option. But I'm curious if it's possible to do this with OEM parts? Is there anything else I haven't considered? And do you think the ocean is salty because the beach never waves back?

I’m fit those same tires on a truck with Zero lift/stock suspension and it didn’t rub. Yes you’ll need to cut n trim. Wheel offset/backspace will play a role.

Did you have to trim your flares and fenders at all?

Depends on what you do but would expect you would need to depending on your wheel setup. If your offset get them away from the spindle and control arm enough. Aftermarket spindles will pull it closer to the firewall too if you have those.

Best way would be to mount at least one up to same wheel and test fit but you will have a fun time.
