What's up Jesse, still have the Expo spring I bought through you. Any chance you could get your hands on AP U-bolt flip kit? Would need them shipped to Maui again.

    Mahalo!!

If you have that camper on there all the time, I wouldn't go standards....at least the first gen ones flex quite a bit with minimal weight

yeah, got it on all the time. actually, I had a convo a while back with someone from AP... they recommended not going to Expo's if I only run the camper shell. it was recommended that I have at least 350lbs of weight in the back, or distributed to the back, otherwise it'll be way too stiff. right now, all I can think of is the camper shell, distributed weight of the sliders, and my full-size matching spare. the Dakar's haven't really sagged either... they're just freaking squeaky.

not sure who else has a camper with AP's... @deeezy?

The standards held up the camper and stuff fine. It's just when going camping, and fully loaded, it would sag a bit. I also have the heavy swingout and big ass spare hanging off the back.

With all that shizz, the standards came out to about 2" of lift. I'm riding a little ass high right now with the expos. @cubiclesurfer

Edit: Oh, the standards ride very smooth. And flex real good too, because I believe they are a tad longer than the Dakars, and no overload.

yeah, the overload probably isn't the best for my setup, since I'm never towing anything.

ive got the allpro expos if you want to see them first hand. They do seem stiff but I dont have anything to compare them with. Theyre a lot smoother than my stocks but theres some other factors in that too, since ive been hauling around weight. I just lowered it more and went from brand new bilsteins/ome 886 to low mileage '15 trd bilsteins. Only went down the street and back so far but I travel that section a lot in your sig, so ill see how it does.

My expos ride very smooth also. When comparing the two packs, the expos just have a few thicker leaves in them. The pack is about 3/8" thicker than the standards.

Standards were about the same as having a 3-leaf AAL with the overload left in.

nice... yeah that little drive is so minor, but the fastest way for me to fish otec side then across to kohanaiki. or just go there for fun and see if I can get stuck. lol. what shocks are you running in the rear?

that's good to know about the standards... I had the icon AAL w/ overload, so I kinda know how that was. I thought I had the rear setup pretty good to go, so a new leaf pack would set me back all over again :bananadead::D

The standards were a lot better than the AAL and has more load carrying capacity.

I kinda miss the old days before the area started getting developed and they cut all the trees with the idea that it makes the area better.

I stuffed the old stock trd bilsteins back on cause my shocks I ordered are too long.

    I need a shackle flip.
