Thanks man they match my truck perfectly after painting the black with bed liner. Now time to search the garage for something to pay forward.

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
    Opinions needed.

There was a member offering to give away something free. I replied and PM'd him immediately, and he responded that he would get it shipped out. I offered to pay the shipping costs as well. It has been exactly 2 months now, and I have PM'd him about 4 times since then. He has replied to apologize, and said he keeps forgetting about them, but he will get them shipped.

I don't want to be a PITA, and I realize people are busy, but what would you guys do (or have you done) in a situation like this?

If you paid the man keep pestering.... If you haven't I'd say forget about it... Same thing kind of happened to me but I just stopped after a couple of weeks of back and forth... It is what it is, take it with a grain of salt. After all it is "free" haha

Figured as much. I never paid him, but offered to pay the shipping costs, give him a T-Shirt or trade some other Taco parts as well, just to make it worth his effort. He asked for my address, and said he would get 'em shipped, but that was over a month ago.

Either way, it's not a big deal. I'll also put some stuff up here soon; I have a few OEM parts that need to get out of my garage.

Eh, some people are very busy, and something that he's not getting money for probably isn't a huge priority for him, especially if he's far from the post office, UPS store, etc...

Yea, definitely not trying to bash the guy or assume he's a flake. Just wanted opinions on what you guys would (or have) done in a similar situation.

How's that old adage go: "If you love something, let it go; if it comes back to you it's yours" :p

Or maybe this is bad PIF karma from when I first came in here asking for U-Bolts (over a year ago) the only time I've been neg'd on TW :pout:

Maybe he will see these posts and "remember"...Otherwise, I have let it go and given up on the PMs. He's on TW semi-frequently, but I'm not about to call him out or bash him.

    FREE TO GOOD HOME

I replaced the rear speakers in my truck. I am offering TWO (count them '2') Toyota Tacoma OEM 6-1/2" round speakers that are not torn, molested or dripped (rain) on! They still have the factory connections, too!

Can be picked up at the Classic City Off Road Meet 8/09/2013 at 6:30pm at Dicky's BBQ, Hawthorn Ave., Athens, Georgia or come by my place for local pick up.

If I ship, you will have to email me the prepaid UPS or Fed-Ex shipping label with your address info on it. I will box them up & arrange pick up on my end.

Changing them out takes 10 minutes each.

If this is a local pickup, I will help you install them if you want.

I gently bumped into a pole when I was backing up and put a small dent in my bumper, on the right side. I replaced the bumper and I'm giving my old bumper away. Bumper only, no plastic parts. You can probably straighten it out and make it look pretty good. The bumper is off my 2011 Tacoma PreRunner and it's chrome. Local pickup only and I live near Oklahoma City.
