very easy for the scummy shitbags to steal our tailgates (used to have a taco :))
hose clamp mod and pop n lock make it a lot harder for them to steal it

Hey guys i have a 2 inch and a 3 inch set of rear blocks if anyone needs them. They will fit in USPS flat rate box so probably like 10 bucks to ship any where. Dont know if anyone needs one or the other but id consider something for them.

Since you are spring under on that taco, actually i think that 2 inch rear blocks will do the opposite, that is lower the truck. Maybe someone with experience with spring under axles will chime in, I really am not sure.
My springs on on top of the axle. Either new leaf spring and shackles I believe are the only way to raise the rear of your truck.

    Sorry.

blocks can do either. just depends on how you use them as well as where your leaf packs are, i.e. under/above axle (angled blocks are different in which the angle helps with your pinion angle - angled toward the cab is for lowering, angle away from cab is for lifting - AC/DC truck need angled blocks, SC trucks won't).
Good to see another dena Taco on here.

you can use them for lowering or lifting. Just make sure when you use them that if you are using them on a AC or DC truck, you get them angled to correct the pinion. SC trucks don't need to have their blocks angled.

I think you mis-understood. I was agreeing with why we do the hose clamp mod, but was saying that Zombie Killer was an ass in his reply.

    no prob :D
@ stock, your rear has about 1.5" lift v. your front. since you have a 2wd truck, I would get lift shackles instead of blocks, they will only make you go lower.

side note, 2wd tacos have the leaf pack under the axle in which drop blocks will only make them go lower *unless a flip kit is installed - a kit that will allow you to have your leaf pack above the axle.

4wd tacos have the leaf pack above the axle to which blocks will allow lift. There is also a flip kit for the 4wd vehicles, BUT drop is limited and the lower you go the more pointless having a 4wd will be.
