Call them up and explain how "having the full trial once I have the truck in hand would better convince me to purchase after the trial expires" or some other BS.

 

The wife already went through that....didn't work. I thought they were a pita before, now we get their promo crap constantly.

 

My 3 month free trial as expired and they wanted me to continue for 19.00 a month so I called them then they offered 15.00 a month and I said I want to cancel and they gave me this deal of 4.99 a month for a year. What BS is that if I would of not spoken I would of been paying full price. So next year I will cancel and get another good. You have to know how to play the game.

 

The recurring theme here seems to be, "the actual listening experience is great, but I want to get it cheaper." Having it in my wife's car for the last 2 years made me *kind of* want it, and now the free trial in my new truck (and at home when I'm working) has gotten me hooked. I'm going to sign up for the $5.99 first year price when the trial expires, then I'll set a reminder on my calendar to call once a year and see if I can keep renewing at something less than the current full-price rate of $16.99 a month.

 

I paid $500 for lifetime back in 2008. I use a portable device or the iPhone app. No monthly fees ever.
