Freight Status

Hi everyone,

I am currently patiently awaiting my new 2023 tacoma sr5 to be delivered to the dealer. I got a call yesterday to tell me that it is now in Freight Status. Does this mean that it has just left the port in Mexico or that it has arrived at the states port and is on the way to the dealer? He said that he expects it to be here within a couple of weeks and before the far end of the projected 2/13-3/10 dates. I just was wondering if anyone had any insight or experiences as I am antsy. The truck was built 1/2 and is being delivered to upstate NY! Thanks in advance!

 

Welcome to TW! I know it takes a while so just be as patient as possible. The dealer has no control over how fast it arrives but feel free to start buying all the stuff you want to put on the truck while you wait.

Goto the other thread below and give your vin to the person that can check. Mine came by boat to N.Y. then a truck to Massachusetts. You'll find the thread it's 800 pages.

Parts of the country are pretty frozen right now so that will add some delay. Texas is effectively shutdown right now.

 

The dealership should be able to send you a screen capture of where the truck approximately is.
