Hi guys, I have no more A/C in my 2014 v6 dbl cab. I check freon qty and the system was empty. Refill it and 3 days after is empty again but saw that drain hose in passenger side firewall was dripping freon. So what i’m suppose to do, tear off dash and watch for leak? Will a see the leak clearly or it really hard to see. Thanks guys!

I think he is referring to the Green Dye Dripping from the AC Condensate Drain.

As you lost the R134A Coolant charge (not Freon, they haven't used freon in many years) in three days you have a large leak probably in the Evaporator coil behind the dash. Yes the entire dash has to be removed to get to it.

Here is what I recommend you do as it seems you have no knowledge of the AC System.
Find a good AC Shop and allow them to fix it.

:rofl:Us in the biz don't call it 'coolant' either. We call any refrigerant 'freon' coz it's easier to spell. ;)

I meant to call it "refrigerant" but it is a pain in the ass to spell. I always seem to want to put a d in the middle for some reason.

    refridgerant

Maybe I should just call it the "cold making stuff".

    LOL

OP, if your evaporator if leaking, taking the dash apart is the only way to replace it.

I am confused by your post.

The facts in my post were pretty clear I thought:

1.) Green Dye Dripping from the AC Condensate Drain.

2.) As you lost the R134A Coolant charge in three days you have a large leak probably in the Evaporator coil behind the dash.

3.) Yes the entire dash has to be removed to get to it.

4.) Find a good AC Shop and allow them to fix it.
