I sold my 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and 2005 Ford F350 and bought a 2011 Tacoma DC TRD Sport 4x4. I sold the Ford because it was out of warranty and I no longer have a 5th wheel toyhauler to pull (bought a mountain cabin instead). I was worried about a high repair bill and my wife wouldn't drive it. I had the Wrangler because I didn't like driving the truck everyday and it was a fun toy in the mountains.

Plans for the Taco are tinted windows, snugtop sl, RCD lift, wheels/tires, and leather interior.

I look forward to starting the mods and learning from all of your experiences. Thanks

    Here is what I sold

Nicely done wrangler and superduty. But how come you decided on a TRD sport if you like to off road?

Only option that was really different was the rear locker. I am not going to rock crawl the Tacoma. Just moderate off road trails. The look of the sport (hood scoop, and color keyed mirror, handles, bumpers, etc. ) just look more high end to me. I can always add a locker if I want to later with a re-gear.

Why not keep the jeep if your going to offroad? Looks pretty capable to me, even more then a tacoma stock. If I bought a cabin I'd sell the F-350 and the fifth wheel too. congrats on the Tacoma

Jeep is not a daily driver and my wife hates driving in it. It doesn't work well for commuting. I can make the Tacoma just as capable for the stuff I am going to tackle and still have a much more comfortable daily driver. Wife will drive the Tacoma once and a while and I can drive her Edge.
